At the start of 2023, I created a project called Highrise Foods. It's a multivendor website/app that enables users in my estate to order food, gas, and water from local vendors. What makes this site different from others is that each vendor has a mini website within the general website. This approach makes it easier for users to find their preferred vendor and for vendors to showcase their products and services.

I used Next.js, MongoDB, and Firebase to develop Highrise Foods. Although I plan to replace the backend with WooCommerce and Docker in the future, using these tools helped me learn a lot about web development, particularly about building a multivendor e-commerce platform.

While Highrise Foods did not succeed as I had hoped, it taught me many valuable lessons. I learned about the importance of market research, user experience design, and marketing strategies. I also learned that even if a project does not succeed, the skills and knowledge gained in the process are invaluable.

Overall, I am proud of what I accomplished with Highrise Foods, and I look forward to applying the lessons I learned to future projects.
