Mental health is a serious issue that affects millions of people worldwide, including students. In February 2023, I created an app called RUMP, which stands for Riara University Mental Partner, to help students deal with mental health issues.
RUMP was a social media platform with several features, including a diary, a blogging feature, a tweeting feature, a story feature, and an event planner. Students could use the platform to express themselves, share their thoughts and emotions, and connect with other students who may be experiencing similar challenges.
One of the unique aspects of RUMP was that anyone could read other people's blogs and tweets. This meant that students could offer support and encouragement to each other, creating a sense of community and understanding on campus. Additionally, people could comment on others' blogs and tweets, further promoting a sense of connection and support.
The tweeting feature was especially popular, allowing students to post photos, videos, and text. This feature made it easy for students to share their experiences with others and to connect with people who may be going through similar struggles.
